What Therapy With Me Feels Like

I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and honesty. My style is reflective and collaborative, balancing emotional insight with practical support. I believe therapy should feel human, not clinical, rushed, or performative.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and high-functioning, yet quietly struggling underneath with anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or the impact of difficult life experiences. Together, we work toward understanding the deeper patterns contributing to distress while building greater self-trust, clarity, and emotional steadiness.

Areas of Support

The challenges people experience often overlap. Anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, and identity struggles can all grow from prolonged stress, survival mode, difficult relationships, or years of putting your own needs aside. Therapy can help you better understand these patterns and move toward a more connected and sustainable way of living.

Trauma & Relational Patterns

I have spent so much time adapting to others and trying to keep the peace that I no longer know what I genuinely want or need, or how to prioritize myself.

Difficult relationships and past experiences can shape how you see yourself and connect with others. You may struggle with boundaries, anxious attachment, fear of rejection, people-pleasing, or repeating painful relationship patterns that leave you feeling emotionally exhausted. Sometimes survival strategies that once protected you can begin to create disconnection, self-doubt, and difficulty trusting yourself in relationships. Therapy can help you better understand these patterns, strengthen self-worth, and move toward healthier and more secure connections.

Anxiety, Burnout, & Emotional Overwhelm
Health Anxiety, Chronic Illness & Medical Trauma

I am exhausted from overthinking everything and carrying so much pressure all the time.

You may feel constantly overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or unable to slow your mind down. Even when you appear capable on the outside, anxiety, perfectionism, and chronic stress can leave you feeling emotionally drained underneath. Many people find themselves stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-pressure, difficulty resting, and feeling responsible for holding everything together. Therapy can help you better understand the patterns contributing to burnout and create a more balanced and sustainable way of living.

Areas of exploration:

  • anxiety and chronic worry

  • burnout and emotional exhaustion

  • perfectionism

  • overthinking

  • stress management

  • decision paralysis

  • work-life balance

  • people-pleasing and boundaries

I cannot stop scanning for what might go wrong, and I never fully feel safe in my own body.

Living with health anxiety, chronic illness, or difficult medical experiences can feel isolating and consuming. You may constantly monitor symptoms, fear the worst about your health, seek reassurance but still struggle to feel calm, or feel emotionally impacted by past medical experiences. Chronic stress, uncertainty, illness, or feeling dismissed by healthcare providers can create lasting fear and disconnection from your body. Therapy can provide support in navigating anxiety, rebuilding trust in yourself, and processing the emotional impact of these experiences.

You might find it helpful to explore:

  • health anxiety

  • panic and fear about symptoms

  • medical trauma

  • chronic illness stress

  • fear of uncertainty

  • body hyperawareness

  • grief and identity changes related to health

  • nervous system overwhelm

Identity, Intimacy & Self-Connection

I have spent so long adapting to others, performing, surviving, or achieving that I no longer know what I genuinely want or trust in myself.

When you have spent years focused on meeting expectations, keeping the peace, pushing through stress, or taking care of others, it can become difficult to feel connected to yourself. You may struggle with self-doubt, people-pleasing, emotional numbness, or uncertainty about who you are outside of your roles and responsibilities. Therapy can help you reconnect with your needs, values, identity, and sense of self in a more grounded and authentic way.
